In March 2020, MACA was awarded the international mining contract at the Okvau Gold project in Cambodia, Southeast Asia, for client Emerald Resources.
Our scope of work includes load, haul, drill and blast services delivered by our workforce. To date, we have employed over 140 local people whilst providing ongoing training and upskilling opportunities.
The two million tonnes a year operation is expected to deliver about 106,000 oz of gold per annum. Our contract with Emerald Resources will run for an initial seven-year term with the option to extend in 2027.
