On Thursday 4 May, MACA hosted WASM Social Club’s annual industry night in Kalgoorlie with our very own, Ben Stevenson attending as the event’s guest speaker.
Ben joined MACA in 2007 as a Vacation Student whilst studying at the WA School of Mines. After completing his studies, Ben’s skillset, operational knowledge, and leadership abilities propelled him to his current position as Area Project Manager for the Duketon Operations.
As a WASM Alumni, Ben said it is inspiring to see the enthusiasm of the next generation.
“It was a pleasure to represent MACA and reflect on my career to date. I understand the challenges and opportunities that the industry’s upcoming professionals may face as they start their careers, so it’s rewarding to connect and share my own experiences.
“I encourage them to stay curious and remain resilient, and no doubt they will lead and bring innovation to their respective fields,” said Ben.
