KhmerLate last year MACA Interquip (MIQ) was awarded the replacement and repair of the stockpile feed conveyor (CV01) at the Mt Magnet Processing Plant for Ramelius Resources Ltd (Ramelius).
Due to higher than expected corrosion of the CV01 steel structure, Ramelius required MIQ to repair and replace the conveyor trusses, trestles, and take up tower within a tight schedule to ensure conveyor downtime was minimised.
MIQ worked collaboratively with the on and off-site management team at Ramelius to have the works scoped, designed, fabricated, and installed all ahead of schedule. This collaborative approach allowed the site to put the crushing circuit back into production earlier than the expected schedule.
The Project has been a great achievement by all personnel involved and the commitment to safety was unparalleled. With the crushing circuit back in operation, the new stacker is performing well with improved throughput.
