On Friday 21 February, 400 members of the WA community championed Team MACA at the annual Hawaiian Ride for Youth Breakfast, raising over $130,000!
Keynote speaker, John Worsfold, shared his journey with the West Coast Eagles, from being a young man studying pharmacy and playing AFL to becoming an award-winning coach. He reflected on the importance of a shared vision in achieving goals as a team, and how much of a privilege it is to lead others. His passion for people, their wellbeing, and development, was a key theme.Â
For 30 years, Youth Focus has been fostering a world where a young person’s mental health does not get in the way of them being who they want to be.Â
On Tuesday 25 March, Chris Pearson, Chris Green, Matt Henderson, Mark Evans, Jim Price, and Jonathon Caulfield, will ride 700 kilometres to bring awareness to mental health, and empower young people in WA’s regions to seek free and accessible help when needed.Â
Thank you to our many supporters who made this breakfast possible.
